Solvang Wedding at Alisal Guest Ranch

July 27, 2009

Just when I think I’ve picked out my favorite venue, Alisal Guest Ranch steps into the picture.  This little piece of heaven is tranquil and makes me feel as though I stepped back into time.  Not that it necessarily looks nostalgic, but the grounds here are a place where children run free and parents sip drinks on front porches.  Or perhaps a little golf, tennis or horseback riding is your cup of tea.  This place is definitely worth a visit…oh boy, I better start saving now.   Thanks to Natalie and Bruce, I had the opportunity to be introduced to Alisal Guest Ranch.  Weddings at Alisal are quite rare during the summer months so this was such a treat.   The wedding was absolutely charming.  As you will see from the pictures below, Natalie is every little girls dream of what a bride looks like.  In fact, there were these three little girl wedding crashers that came and watched the ceremony.  They were so cute and brought Natalie some hand picked flowers which she graciously accepted with a huge smile on her face.   My favorite moment without a doubt was listening to Natalie tell her story behind the Maryland basketball that was sitting in her lap at the reception.  To say that she is a fan is the biggest understatement of the year!  I’d like to thank Natalie and Bruce for making us feel like guests at the wedding.  We had a wonderful time.  Congratulations!
